Using twin-screw extruder technology HiTech Polymers has the ability to provide consistent Hi-Quality color concentrates in an almost unlimited variety of colorants and base polymers. Color concentrates can be provided in any suitable carrier polymer with colorant loadings dependent on the type of colorant and the let-down ratio desired. Blue, green, red and yellow colors can be produced in any desired loading up to 20% by weight. Black concentrates can be easily produced up to 50%. White concentrates can be produced at 50% - 60% loadings by weight depending on the carrier chosen. Exceptions can be made for specific systems. Multiple function concentrates can also be made. These would include functional additives in addition to the colorant. Additives such as antioxidants, UV stabilizers, optical brighteners, antistats etc. can be incorporated as an all-in-one concentrate.
