We can control the temperature and rate of rise in a conductive film composition by simply changing the voltage.  Imagine a fabric lined with a soft elastomer that will heat up using battery power.   Contact us to see how we can help your product.

Questions about materials and processing related to products made by HiTech Polymers can be answered with just a phone call.  We'll even help with other products.  All of this stems from our broad experience in thermoplastics. Click here to drop us a line.

Purge Polymers

HiTech antistatic plastic concentrates  are non-corrosive and can be supplied in the same base polymer with which they will be used.

Our antistatic polymer concentrates are formulated to be used at a let-down ratio of 10:1 (polymer:concentrate).   Using concentrates at higher let-down ratios leads to poor mixing and slower decay times.  It can also lead to "hot spots".

Use of HiTech antistatic plastic concentratrates at a 10:1 let-down ratio does not alter the physical properties of the host polymer other than improving its antistatic performance.  In addition, transparent polymers are unaffected in optical properties (i.e. they remain transparent) while reaching surface resistivities of 109 to 1011 with HiTech antistatic concentrates.

For more thorough discussion of antistatic polymers and technology please visit our

Conductive Polymers page.  HiTech Polymers makes an extensive series of concentrates which can be used with a wide variety of polymers to impart antistatic features to fabricated products.

Email us or call (859) 334-4500 to speak with a HiTech representative regarding your specific needs for an antistatic plastic or concentrate.  If possible please specify polymer type and decay characteristics desired or tell us what general properties and performance are needed. With that information we can make recommendations to meet your needs.
