Lubricants permit thermoplastic polymers to process (flow and fill) more easily in both molding and extrusion ("internal" lubricants). In addition, lubricants can also act as surface "slip agents" in applications such as film which tends to stick to itself ("external" lubricants). HiTech Polymers provides a wide array of high-performance internal and external lubricants in concentrate form. Concentrates permit the processor and/or end-user to cost-effectively custom-tailor lubricant performance to meet required needs. A summary of available polymers and internal/external lubricants shown in Table 1 below. Table 2 contains a summary of specific lubricant formulations which HiTech Polymers is ready to supply in your desired polymer base. Additionally, HiTech can supply combination concentrates containing lubricants and other additives such as heat stabilizers, antioxidants and UV stabilizers. Please let us know your need.
