We can control the temperature and rate of rise in a conductive film composition by simply changing the voltage.  Imagine a fabric lined with a soft elastomer that will heat up using battery power.   Contact us to see how we can help your product.

Thermoplastic vulcanizates, or TPV's, are a special class of TPE that contains a crosslinked rubber phase dispersed within a thermoplastic polymer phase.  TPV's offer many of the product features of crosslinked rubbers, coupled with the processability of thermoplastic polymers.  They are outstanding in their low compression set and high extensibility in addition to their solvent resistance.  Running TPV regrind shows no property loss.

TPV's do not need drying, can be filled with various fillers, can be used as impact modifiers, and can be colored, as they are white opaque in color.  TPV's have properties that occur between those of TPE's and TPU's in performance, but are only slightly higher in price than TPE's.

HiLast TPV's are available in Shore A hardness from 00 to 95 in natural and black colors.  Materials with higher hardness can be provided upon request.

Some applications for HiLast TPV's include gaskets and seals, boots, tubing, medical stoppers, sporting equipment, automotive seals, and damping pads.
